Monsters of River and Rock My Life as Iron Maiden’s Compulsive AnglerEs waterways and weirs in a fearless uest for fishing nirvana Hooked on the of River and PDF #199 angling adrenaline rush since first catching perch from East London canals of River and Rock My PDF on outings with his father Adrian grew up to be in one of Rock's most iconic bands On tour his gear of River and Rock My PDF went with him The fish got bigger The ad. I came at this book as an Iron Maiden fan and not as someone who has ever been fishing or has ever felt even the faintest urge to do so However I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed reading this It has an engaging conversational style it made me laugh aloud on a few occasions and Adrian comes over as a genuine and interesting guyHis huge passion for fishing waterways countryside and the great outdoors is infectious and I lapped up every word of casting swims floats and bait At a guess I’d say the book is 75% fish to 25% Maiden but it is woven together to give a context in time for the music and touring madness over the decades and Adrian’s development and growing ambition as an anglerIf you’re just after a backstage pass to salacious scandal and rockstar excesses you’ll be disappointed but for a relatable insight into Adrian’s consuming passion the one that isn’t the day job he is so well known for is a privilege I’m delighted to have had I still won’t be heading off fishing myself though but I do have understanding into the appeal it holds for others as well as learning about what its like being in one of the best bands ever
