Fred Alan Wolf ô The Eagle's Quest: A Physicist Finds the Scientific Truth at the Heart of the Shamanic World epub Ath and out of body experiences lucid dreaming and time travelin A great book for the western shamanic practitioner or anyone who wants to begin to understand the intersection of physics & shamanism I have studied different paths of shamanism than the author If the author had time to explore even shamanic paths he could have gone even farther with his understanding of shamanism through physics I can't fault him He is a physicist who is curious about shamanism not a cross cultural anthropologist or shaman This is a personal account of one physicist who explores a few shamanic paths and experiences them for himself This is not a textbook of physics for the shamanic practitioner or vice versa I like the personal way he writes about his experiences almost like a journal adventure It is interesting to see his reaction to shamanic experiences He doesn't just explain away the mysteries he encounters as physics He sees how shamanism and physics are two ways of exploring the same natural phenomena of the universe For me that is fascinating
