A Table By the Window English EditionCarley finds A Table MOBI #198 than she bargained for in Tallulah along with faith self worth romancea murder mystery that threatens her newfound happiness From bestselling author Lawana Blackwe. This book was different from most chick lit or romance novels I liked how the author allowed you to get to know the main character Carly long before any love interest was introduced I also really liked the fact that almost every character in the book had some flaws A story with characters who are always kind or always patient is not nearly as interesting or believable I also really liked the positive depiction of small town life I look forward to reading some of Blackwell s other books

Nd a house in Tallulah Mississippi from a grandmother she can barely remember Carley visits Tallulah and the serenity of small town living charms her into staying and opening a bistro there But. Overall I enjoyed this book The story is a good one and the characters are both likable and believable I enjoyed seeing Carley transform from cynical to coming back to God understandable considering her childhood experiences Brooke was a great character and I would like to see of her The initial presentation of the villian made me almost not believe at first that he really did what he did and I enjoyed seeing his character develop as wellI grew up in the same general area as where Tallulah is fictitiously located I grew up south of Hattiesburg and this town is located northwest of Hattiesburg and it was really fun reading about places I ve been to and know about I got a little aggravated trying to figure out where this town was supposed to be located some of the distances are not accurate but I think she based it roughly on the town of Sumrall since it is barely in Lamar County where 589 and 42 intersect However you will probably not find antiue stores Old Grist Mill restaurant or anything exciting like that in that little town
