This whole book seems to be a litany of Oh poor me I'm sure everyone in a new job feels completely unprepared for it and as if they're not capable but most people just get on with it rather than whingeing on for a whole book about what a hard life it is Obviously a doctor has far responsibility than most occupations but I find it hard to believe that someone fresh out of med school would be left so totally alone with such unhelpful consultants etcThe book isn't particularly well written the humour is scarce and the medical details poorly explained I don't want reams of technical data but I don't want to have to Google things either There are plenty of medical themed books that are worth reading this isn't one if them
